Hi everyone. I start off my diet tips in my blog by Food Allergy. Have you ever heard about food allergy? Can you imagine that food also can bring harm to our body? Most people with food allergies are allergic to fewer than 4 foods. It happens when people produce exessive amounts of an antibody called IgE (Immunoglobulin E) in response to some foods. It is actually an unusual reponse made by body’s immune system. The combination of an allergen with allergen-specific IgE can caused chemical mediators release. It can cause itching, respiratory system disorder, nausea, diarrhea or swelling. Foods that commonly cause allergic reactions are: Milk, Eggs, Soya, Fish, Shellfish (including mussels, crab and shrimps), Peanuts, tree nuts and wheat.
